Beyond Work

The side of me that lives in music, movement, ideas, and people.

This is not my CV. It is the more personal part of the portfolio: what gives me energy, what I keep learning, and what I care about when the conversation moves beyond job titles.

Music And Creative Energy

Music is probably the clearest signal of the person behind the professional profile.

Best memory

For 15 minutes in Japan, Slovak Rhapsody made me feel like a frontman.

I once sang in front of around 40 or 50 people in Japan with a six-person band, including me, called Slovak Rhapsody. It was my first time singing like that, but the band trusted me, believed in me, and gave the whole moment an energy I will not forget.

Guitar, Singing, And Piano

I have been trying to learn guitar for a few months now. It is hard, but I can feel that I am getting better. Piano was always somewhere in my heart too, so who knows, maybe that will be my next step.

Music Production

I have been learning Logic Pro, a music production app where you can record, arrange, and shape sounds on a computer. I already made a few private songs, but they are still staying private while I learn.

The Band Around The Moment

It was not only about the songs. It was about the band, the trust, and the feeling that they believed in me even though my performance was not perfect. We played Queen songs: We Will Rock You, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, and We Are the Champions. It was hard, but beautiful.

The afterparty with the band mattered too. Maru, Riku, Atsumu, Edo, and Yui were the people I played with, and I felt genuinely welcomed by them. I definitely will not forget that group. There is also a Slovak-language video about the concert and the story around it.

Video and storytelling were there early too.

I started making videos when I was around 12, then stopped for a while, and later returned to it during my time in Japan. I love the feeling of creating something from almost nothing: a video, a song, a story, or a small idea that slowly becomes real.

People, Books, And Philosophy

A lot of my energy comes from connection, ideas, and the feeling that both people are present in the same conversation.

Deep Conversation

I love when people really listen to each other, stay interested in the topic, and let a conversation become meaningful instead of only polite.

Books And Philosophy

I like books about philosophy, self-growth, and how the world works. Schopenhauer and Marcus Aurelius' Meditations both stayed with me in different ways.

Naval Ravikant

I love Naval Ravikant's ideas about life, business, happiness, and clear thinking. He has a way of making complicated things feel simple without making them shallow.

Stoicism

Stoicism makes sense to me because it keeps the focus on what I can influence, instead of wasting energy on things I cannot change.

Personal Compass

These are the traits and values that show up repeatedly in how I learn, create, work, and choose people around me.

Creative Energy

Deep down, I am a creative person. I like creating videos, making music, shaping ideas, and finding the emotional part of a project.

Open-Minded

International exchanges helped me meet people from many countries, cultures, religions, and backgrounds, and that changed how I see the world.

Detail-Oriented

Even outside work, I naturally care about details because I want the final thing to feel good, useful, and well made.

Always Learning

I want to become better every day, learn new things, share what I know, and stay close to people who can teach me or push me forward.

Sport And Energy

Movement keeps me balanced. It also teaches patience, discipline, and respect for slow progress.

First marathon, Banska Bystrica, June 2022

I finished my first marathon, and crossing the line meant more than the time.

Running the marathon was a completely different feeling than just running alone. My goal was simply to finish under the limit. In the final weeks before the start, my ankle was bad enough that I had to stop running completely, so even reaching the start line felt uncertain.

The atmosphere carried me. My fan club kept giving me energy in the middle of the track, volunteers and people around the route were incredibly supportive, and Marek, a runner I met on the track, helped pull me through a hard lap when we talked and I almost forgot I was running. Dominik Cerny, a great athlete, helped me prepare and was the main reason I decided to try the marathon in the first place.

Movement mix

Running, boxing, hiking, and the kind of effort that clears my head.

Recently I have been trying boxing, but I still love running. I also enjoy hiking, swimming, cycling, inline skating, calisthenics, and weightlifting.

Hiking gives me a different kind of reset. On Mt. Fuji, the rain, storm, cold near the top, thin air, and long climb made the whole experience quiet, demanding, and beautiful at the same time.

Near the top it was freezing cold, and my clothes were wet from sweat with no dry layer to change into. I also had a small breathing problem while sleeping at altitude, but the sunrise from Japan's sacred mountain was mesmerizing. I made a Slovak-language video from that climb.

Investing Curiosity

Investing is another personal learning area for me, especially because markets show how psychology, patience, risk, and analysis meet.

Markets As A Learning System

I started getting into investing around 2023, and I enjoy analyzing how stocks move, why markets react, and how decisions change under pressure.

Technical And Fundamental Thinking

I like combining technical and fundamental analysis because both sides teach something different: one shows behavior and timing, the other asks whether the underlying value makes sense.
